Materials Needed:
• 12 4mm beads
• Sz 11 Seed Beads
• Fireline
• Beading Needle
• Clear Nail Polish

Thread 1 1/2 yards of fireline. Pick up 12 sz 11 seed beads. Sew through the first bead forming a circle. Sew through all 12 beads again and tie a knot leaving a 6 inch tail. Step up one bead.
Pick up three more 11 seed beads. Skip a bead and sew through the next bead on the ring. Repeat this step around the ring. You should have a total of six loops around the original ring. Sew up two beads.
Pick up three 11s. Sew through the last bead strung before picking up the 3rd in the same direction, and through the next bead on the previous round.
Pick up five 11s and sew back through the first bead of the 5th and 2nd on the previous round. Repeat these two steps around the ring. You should have 12 loops. Continue through two beads to step up.
Pick up six 11s and a 4mm bead. Sew under the thread in the center of the next loop and back through the 4mm bead.  Pick up six more 11s and sew through the top bead of the next loop and through the last 11.
Pick up five 11s and a 4mm bead, again sewing under the thread in the next loop and back through the 4mm bead. Pick up six 11s and sew through the top bead on the next loop and through the last 11. Repeat around the ring. Step up five beads. You should be exiting from the bead above a crystal.
Pick up one 11 and sew through the three beads on the next loop. Pick up six 11s and sew through the last three beads on the next loop.
Repeat around the ring and step up one 11, the first 11 added this round.
Pick up five 11s and sew through the bead the thread is exiting and the first of the five 11s.
Pick up nine 11s and a 4mm bead. Sew under the thread in the next loop and back through the 4mm bead.
Pick up seven 11s and sew back through the 4th  bead of the seven. Pick up one 11 and sew through the last two 11s on the previous loop. Go through the 4mm bead and under the thread again and through the next two 11s.
Pick up eight 11s and sew through the bead above the 4mm bead. Pick up four 11s. Sew through the 8th bead on the last loop, the 11 above the 4mm bead, and the first 11 in the new loop.
Repeat this step around the ring except for the last spike.
Pick up nine 11s and a 4mm bead. Sew under the thread in the next loop and back through the 4mm bead. Pick up seven 11s and sew back through the 4th. Pick up an 11 and sew through the last two 11s on the previous loop. Go through the 4mm bead and through the next two 11s. Pick up seven 11s and sew through the 11s in the first loop. Tie off your threads, working the tail within the bead work three times— hiding the knots in a bead. Trim thread and paint the snowflake with clear nail polish to stiffen. Let dry.
